Microsoft Restores Cloud Services After Outage
Microsoft announced on Friday that it has successfully restored its cloud services following a disruption that affected several Azure services in the U.S. region. The outage, which was reported on Thursday, impacted various Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, and also caused flight delays for some airlines.
The tech giant identified the root cause of the issue and managed to restore most services by Friday. However, some customers in the region may still encounter issues as a few services continue to be affected.
Frontier Airlines, a U.S.-based carrier, reported disruptions in its systems due to the Microsoft outage. Passengers were advised that booking, check-in processes, boarding pass access, and certain flights might be affected during this period.
